Let's talk a little bit about studying Art and Design in Scandinavia. Below are names of universities that are reference in this field:


Finland:

Aalto University (ranking: 13th)

It is located in Greater Helsinki, Finland. It was established in 2010 as a merger of three major Finnish universities: the Helsinki University of Technology (established 1849), the Helsinki School of Economics (established 1904), and the University of Art and Design Helsinki (established 1871).




Norway:

Oslo National Academy of the Arts (the highest ranked at 101-150)

It is a university college in Oslo, and it was established in 1996. It is Norway's largest college of higher education in the field of arts with 560 students.



Denmark:

It is located in Kolding, Denmark and it was founded in 1967


It is located in Copenhagen and it was inaugurated on 31 March 1754, and given as a gift to the King Frederik V on his 31st birthday.




It is a public university situated in Copenhagen and it was established in 1999


It has campuses located in Southern Denmark and on Zealand. It was established in 1998


It was founded in 1965 in Aarhus, Denmark.

It is located in Stockholm and it was founded in 1844



It is located on the small island of Skeppsholmen in Stockholm


The largest institution of higher education in northern Sweden. It is a public higher education institution located in the city of Umeå in the north of Sweden, founded in 1965
